This blog is a great addition to the New England Learning community, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it grows. Its also a good example of the way blended learning should work: start with pre-learning and community-building before an in-person event (include assessments for the instructor to guage the community's knowledge--something like Saul's list, if folks post their answers in comments). Then, after the event, the community continues the discussion online at full boil; in blended learning the concepts from the class can be revisited in a reference format or follow-up modules online, so you don't forget what you learned--or so you can build on what you started at the meeting or in the class.
