Boston, Mass. - August 29, 2005 – NELA believes that the most exciting innovations and opportunities in the Learning and Technology industry lie just ahead. In a continued growth initiative we would like to announce the launch of NELA Global Chapters. Now is the time to continue to connect with other parts of the world with the announcement of the first NELA Global Chapter with the opening of its first chapter in Jakarta, Indonesia. Other chapters planned may include India and Singapore and others.

For the past couple of years NELA has continued to become a worldwide forum for the discussion of emerging industry trends and strategies, to build partnerships and maintain contacts with activities and events co-operatively with groups throughout the world. “Each event we have done with groups from Canada, Switzerland, Ireland and others have continued to generate more and more interest. This is a great next step for us. “said Allan Cole, co-founder and executive director of NELA.

“Jakarta offers great promise. They are a community consisting of one of the worlds largest group of Islands with over 200 million people. “Because of the lack of infrastructure there they are forced to leverage technology in some very successful ways. The potential there is enormous” said Subu Kota, Chairman of The Boston Group, a global service provider with Offices locally and around the world.
